Drop behind the wheel and you’ll find that all the instrumentation in a Centurion is right where you’d put it yourself. Slide into the passenger seats and you’ll find storage bins, ice-coolers and drink holders ready to serve. Under your feet, you’ll find snap-out carpets for easy cleaning – an idea that makes so much sense, yet is hardly found in the boating industry today. And with sound systems that could practically power the boats on their own, your skier/wakeboarder won’t miss a beat.
Centurion’s ideas, innovations and inventions began taking shape in our first production facility in 1978. Since then, we have changed the face of water sports competitions with our, sometimes simple, modifications. We once bolted two-by-fours to the sides of our boat and shaped it to reduce spray. This simple idea led to our Tru Trac II with Spray Rails, which is now used in some form by every tow boat made today. Our most recent innovations include the safety-inspired Sideswipe exhaust system, which vents dangerous exhaust emissions out either side of the boat, away from the rider, with the flip of a switch, and a Heads-Up Display, which digitally displays various gauges safely on the windshield.
